The iVAC Pro Switch is the central control component of the iVAC Pro automated dust collection system. It automatically controls a connected shop vacuum or dust collector in response to wireless signals from compatible iVAC tool interfaces.

When a connected power tool is turned on, the tool interface sends a signal to the Pro Switch. The Pro Switch then activates the dust collector after a programmable delay. When the tool is turned off, the dust collector continues running for a selectable period to help clear remaining dust and debris from the ductwork before automatically shutting down.

Each iVAC Pro Switch can receive signals from up to 8 power tools, allowing multiple stationary or handheld tools to share a single dust collector. Up to four independent iVAC Pro systems can operate within the same or adjacent workshops, supporting as many as 32 tool signals across four dust collectors.

The S11520-A-NA is designed for North American 115V applications and provides a maximum current capacity of 20A. It can directly control most dust collectors up to approximately 1 HP, subject to the motor's actual running current. Higher-powered dust collectors may require an iVAC Pro Contactor.

The S24020-A-NA is designed for North American 240V applications and provides a maximum current capacity of 20A. It can directly control most dust collectors up to approximately 2 HP, subject to the motor's actual running current. The S24020-A-NA is not compatible with the iVAC Contactor.

How it Works

1. Each power tool is paired with a compatible iVAC Pro Tool Plus, iVAC Pro Remote or iVAC Tool interface, which communicates wirelessly with the Pro Switch.

2. When a connected power tool is turned on, the interface sends a signal to the Pro Switch. The switch activates the connected dust collector or shop vacuum immediately or after the programmable 1.5-second start delay.

3. When the power tool is turned off, the Pro Switch keeps the dust collector running for the selected 0, 5, 15 or 45-second shut-off period. This additional run time helps remove residual dust and debris from the collection line before automatically shutting the dust collector down.

4. Multiple tools can communicate with the same Pro Switch, allowing one dust collector to automatically serve up to eight power tools without requiring the operator to manually start and stop the dust collection system.

Installation & Compatibility

• Simple Installation: Connect the Pro Switch to the appropriate electrical supply and plug the shop vacuum or dust collector into the switch's output receptacle.

• Tool Interface Required: Each power tool requires a compatible iVAC Pro Tool Plus, iVAC Pro Remote or iVAC Tool interface.

• S11520-A-NA: North American model designed for 115VAC / 20A applications.

• S24020NA: North American model designed for 240VAC / 20A applications.

• Typical Motor Capacity: Approximately 1 HP at 115VAC or 2 HP at 240VAC, depending on the running-current requirements of the connected motor.

• Maximum Current Capacity: 20A.

• Circuit Breaker Rating: 20A.

• Power Connection: 30-inch input power cord with applicable NEMA straight-blade plug and corresponding output receptacle.
